A short walk, via a footpath directly from the Park, brings you to the beach.

Between the Park and the beach is the Glen Golf Course where 'pay & play' can be arranged or one can relax and enjoy the park's own 9-hole putting green.

For the children there is a wonderful timber built mini-adventure playground and North Berwick has a leisure pool just minutes from the park. There really is no need to venture much further than North Berwick itself, but for those wishing to see more of Scotland's capital city, there is a regular train service to and from Edinburgh.

At their Award-winning family Caravan and Camping park Tantallon, North Berwick.

To undertake the day to day cleaning of our holiday park facilities and accommodation and as evening park warden for a few evening assistance and security.
Salary at National Living/Minimum Wage / Accommodation Provided / Uniform Provided

Applicants are required to deliver excellent customer service coupled with the ability to deliver exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety across a range of facilities and accommodations at the park. Experience in this area is preferred. Other duties include key-holding, evening park tours 6 days per week. This is a versatile role that supports all areas of the park business. The salary is at national minimum/living wage and working hours will vary depending on the booking patterns. In peak weeks you will be expected to work up to 6 days per week. Weekend, evening and bank holiday work is required. Accommodation in the form of a caravan holiday home is provided with utilities (gas, water & electricity).



List of Duties:

1. Maintaining the high standards of customer service as set by the General Manager.
2. Ensure that proactive communication is maintained with your line manager.
3. Delivering consistently high standards of product and service to our holiday guest.
4. To ensure a high standard of cleanliness within hire accommodation, WC & shower facilities, kitchens, bar & customer areas and related amenity environment, storage and product service areas.
5. Supporting and helping colleagues including Maintenance operations, to deliver an efficient, effective and friendly service to guests and visitors.
6. Ensuring the security of all Company property including stock, equipment, buildings, cash and keys.
7. Maintaining all recording systems as required by the Company and the law. This includes cleaning and maintenance checklists.
8. Ensure that stock management procedures are maintained and that stock reports and records are produced accurately, on time.
9. Ensure compliance with your staff handbook and all relevant legislation and Company Policies and Procedures particularly those concerning Health & Safety.
10. During the operating season your hours of work shall be as and when required to meet the needs of the operation. Your line manager will inform you of the seasonal working hours.
11. You will have one day off per week and must stay in the accommodation provided for the six days that you are working. Any request to stay away from the park must be treated in the same manner as a holiday request and where permission must first be gained from the General Manager.
12. Maintaining discipline in the Caravan Park and ensuring that all rules and regulations laid down by the Management are adhered to.
13. Late inspections after 11.00pm during busy times (to be confirmed by the General Manager)
14. The warden is considered as a member of the park’s duty support team and will be required to hold the park emergency phone a minimum of 5 nights per week and be on call out duty during those times.

Note: In addition to these functions, the job holder will be expected to perform other such duties as may reasonably be required within the level and scope of the job.

Job Vacancy: Warden Couple

Working between our 2 holiday parks based in South West Scotland we are looking for a warden couple to join our team to assist with general day to day park duties; cleaning, check ins, check outs, landscaping, grass cutting, gas delivery and other general jobs.

Experience preferred however training will be given. Full Driving License essential.

1 person - 40 hours per week, 2nd person - 30 hours per week. Working 5 days out of 7 with 2 x night cover.

Our other park Barnsoul is based 6 miles west of Dumfries and the couple are required to work there two days per week and staying over to deal with late check ins and provide emergency cover. Barnsoul is a mixed park; tourers, glamping, camping, statics and lodges.

Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the Park.
