Flower of May Holiday Parks Limited are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and practical couples with a passion for customer service to join our team as Park Wardens at Holiday Parks throughout Yorkshire, for the 2018 season.

You will be mainly responsible for assisting the Park Managers with the day-to-day smooth running of the Park together with general maintenance and cleaning within the Holiday Park, reporting to Company Directors and Park Management.

Duties may include: -

• Reception and Shop duties
• Dealing with general customer and sales
enquiries
• Groundwork and gardening together with
general maintenance and repairs
• Siting of sales vans
• Ensuring that a high standard of
cleanliness of facilities is achieved and
maintained
• Gas bottle exchange
• Litter picking and bin rotation
• Maintenance of hire fleet
• Ensuring cleanliness of hire fleet is
maintained at a high standard
• Unpacking and cleaning of sales vans
• Toilet & Shower block cleaning
• Regular inspections of Toilet & Shower
blocks
• Evenings on call
• Late night park inspection
• Supervision of staff on Manager’s day off

Please note this is a list of the main tasks to be carried out in the role of Wardens but it is not exhaustive. Some of the duties may not be applicable at specific parks.

These are practical and hands-on roles, consistently delivering a high standard of customer service.

These are seasonal positions. The working week is five days out of seven to include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. A six-day working week will be required during the main school holidays. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business. Evenings on call on rotation with Park Managers. Due to the nature of the business, holidays are not permitted during the season.

Accommodation is provided together with utilities as part of the package.

There is the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus payable upon completion of the season.

We are seeking applications from couples currently working as managers or senior wardens, possibly for one of the major camping and caravanning organisations.

You would be responsible for managing this beautiful, quiet CAMC Affiliated site from the start of 2018 season (early March). You should be fully conversant with all aspects of customer care, taking bookings on our own booking system, pitching, care and maintenance of toilet/shower block, office and all aspects of ground and pitch maintenance with a practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and grass cutting machinery maintenance with the ability to recognise when contractors help is required.You would run a small shop supplying daily consumables and papers together with gas and other camping items.

Total earnings are likely to be greater than club site employees; this position requires a high level of enthusiasm and commitment running a business for a private business/land owner.

We are looking for off season wardens for the winter starting by the end of October and staying with us till March.

The park ticks over during these months but there is always something to do.
We are looking for a friendly couple who can help out 2 to 3 hours a day looking after the toilet block and the odd stint running reception etc on the managers days off.

There is a lot to explore in and around Oxford to keep you busy and we do have a new year bash that we hope you will be part of.

In return you will have a hard standing pitch with electric hook up for your caravan or motorhome,wifi, laundry and gas at cost.

Shardlow Village has a unique place in the history of the country. The 18th century canal port, with its associated wharves and warehouses is clearly to be seen. Originally a river port, Shardlow developed greatly with the opening of the Trent & Mersey Canal in 1770. Job Vacancy: Park Warden

Shardlow Marina is situated on the Derbyshire/Leicestershire border. We cater for tents, caravans and motor homes on our touring field, we also have static holiday homes and moorings for 300 boats.

We are looking for an active, enthusiastic and active warden/s from March 2018 until the end of September 2018 with a free pitch including electric available along with an appropriate wage.

Main Role/Responsibilities;

To work a long side our team to ensure the smooth running of the campsite including serving in the Chandlery, taking bookings over the phone, processing payments, making sure our customers are pitched correctly on the touring field and Touring Park Rules are adhere to and general maintenance and tidiness of the marina

Skills - Required

Computer Literate. Must be able to operate basic computer functions including internet and MS office excel; outlook and word.

Previous warden experience preferred but not essential.

High standards of customer service, be flexible and willing to work on their own initiative.
