Job Vacancy: Warden Couple

A Warden couple are required at this busy riverside Holiday Caravan Park. The Wardens will be required to work in all aspects of the Park operations.

To work as part of the team under the Park Managers, a significant level of responsibility ensuring day off/ holiday cover for the Managers. An ability to work well with others and at all times have good customer communication skills.

Tasks to include all aspects required in the smooth operation of the Park. From grounds maintenance and caravan siting to office and sales cover. Working alongside and with the grounds team, cleaning team or bar staff.

Ideally the couple will have experience of working in the industry but this is not essential. A good attitude to work and a fair level of fitness is needed.

The accomodation is a twin unit based near the centre of the Park.

The accomodation and all reasonable utilty bills form part of the salary package.

Haughton House Holiday Park seeks fit, active, outgoing persons as caravan park wardens from mid April to mid November 2018. There will be extra assistance with cleaning and ground maintenance during high season.

Duties include

Reception:- Welcoming and checking in customers at reception. Dealing with telephone enquiries, basic computer skills required to deal with e-mail enquiries relating to touring caravans, motorhomes, tents, caravan holiday homes for hire, along with associated administration.

Cleaning: - Toilet blocks (1 to 2) depending on demand. Caravan holiday homes for hire, including laundry, ironing and office to the highest of standards.

Park and ground works. General DIY and maintenance tasks, grass cutting using ride on mower, hand mower, strimmer, pruning, weed control and refuse collection. Ensuring the park is maintained to the highest of standards.

Evening Duties will cover late arrivals and check toilet facilities.

The successful applicants must be fit, active, friendly, honest and outgoing. Have excellent customer service skills. Previous experience preferred but not essential, knowledge of caravanning would be benefical. Must be extremely flexible and be able to work as part of a small team.

Green Hill Farm is looking for a helpful, friendly and energetic couple, to join our flexible and hard working team. The park gets extremely busy and everyone is expected to work hard especially during peak season, but you will find the rest of the team very friendly and the work rewarding.

You will need to take pride in your work which will be to very high standards, working 5 days a week on our touring and camping park.

Duties for both of the couple will include: Cleaning of our 4 award winning toilet and shower blocks and the surrounding areas, groundswork and bins, showing customers to pitches, helping customers with queries, bar and table waiting work in our seasonal bar, serving in the take-away, helping with activities in peak season and working in the shop & reception. We have an evening and on-call rota, which includes 2 evenings per week in peak season.

Experience is not essential, but a flexible, positive outlook with the ability to work hard as part of a team is.
