Job Vacancy: Sales Consultant

Solway Holiday village has recently embarked on a 5 year improvement programme and this has created an excellent opportunity for a target driven Sales Consultant.

Reporting to the General Manager but largely working on your own initiative, this key role offers uncapped earning potential for a productive and self motivated Consultant.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years direct holiday home sales experience and be sales trained although applicants from car,house or leisure sales environments will be considered. All applicants will need to prove sales experience at interview.

You should be a confident communicator who is able to:
Self generate leads.
Advertise in the right areas.
Keep accurate and up to date lead information.
Build productive relationships with existing owners and holiday makers.
Organise and attend events.
Provide first class after sales service.
Have great administration skills.

Most importantly you should know that every phone call or enquiry is valuable and should be explored to the full potential.

If this sounds like you then you could earn a £ 20,000 basic salary, commission on each sale and bonuses for hitting incremental targets throughout the year. First year OTE should be in the region of £ 35k-40k.

The Role
We are expanding and our sales team cannot keep up with demand, with over 1100 vacant residential and holiday plots and several million pounds worth of stock this is a fantastic opportunity to join our extremely successful and well established sales and marketing team. You will be expected to actively promote the parks exceed sales targets.
You will be responsible for proactively identifying and creating new sales opportunities, through the internet, social media, leaflet dropping, mail shots, e-mailers, estate agents and direct telephone calls. You will be expected to use your own initiative and creativity developing new and exciting ideas with the support of the Sales and Market Managers.
You will actively participate in park events, welcoming new customers to the park and putting them at ease. You will give park tours to future owners, identifying their requirements and recommending specific homes to suit their needs. Have an in-depth knowledge of all current and future stock and available plots and the various packages each park offers. Have experience and a thorough knowledge of our sales process and expectations, and the ability to close deals and accurately complete all sales paperwork in a timely manner. This is a rear sales opportunity selling Park Homes, Lodges and static caravans.

About You
You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, friendly and willing to contribute to the positive culture of our sales team. Have a true passion for sales and enjoy working towards and exceeding targets, combined with excellent commercial awareness and stay up to date with current sales/markets.
You must have a proven track record, be reliable, thorough, honest, efficient and presentable.

Experience
You will have prior experience in a direct sales environment and Ideally, you will have previously worked in a similar environment and will have experience of selling caravans. Educated to grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent) would be preferred but not essential but you must be adept at using IT applications.A driving license is also required for this role.

Pay
The basic salary is £17,000 - £24,000, depending on experience, plus commission, with a realistic OTE being in excess of £50,000
Benefits such as on site accommodation, laptop, mobile phone and pension are also considered.

On site private accommodation is available for the right applicant.

Job Vacancy: Holiday Sales Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Holiday Sales Manager based at our Head Office in Lancaster.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, and responsible for a team of four, you will provide comprehensive day-to-day Holiday Sales support to all company parks covering all aspects of holiday sales.
You will oversee and manage the call centre department, maximising occupancy and revenue to increase the overall hire business each year and be responsible for the accuracy of holiday bookings administration, accommodation set up and tariffs, liaising with booking agents, managing existing and implementing new booking processes, collating weekly and monthly holiday sales reports.

The main duties include but are not limited to:
Team Management:
• Manage the day to day operation of the Head Office Call Centre team ensuring that the company’s procedures are adhered to at all times;
• Ensure that all team members are trained, and provide support and assistance where required on telephone principles, sales techniques and the company’s booking systems;
• Develop an effective team through communication, motivation and guidance and display effective leadership, enforcing discipline where required;
Holiday Sales:
• Ensure that all administration relating to holiday bookings including booking assignment, processing payments, sending regular customer communication and chasing outstanding holiday balances is complete and adheres the company standards;
• Ensure that all customers receive the correct information on our products and services and receive outstanding customer service at all times;
• Handle any complex holiday enquiries;
• Act as the main point of contact for the parks, assisting with general enquiries relating to holiday sales, hire accommodation repairs and hire pitch changes.
Revenue:
• Forecast and analyse data against budget;
• Drive sales forward to ensure that all targets are met or exceeded;
• Understand the competitive market. Review occupancy daily and ensure that offers and discounts are used to best effect to maximise sales;

Person specification:
• Experience of working in a similar role/environment;
• Understanding of the travel market (within the holiday park industry preferably);
• Demonstrable capacity to multi task and work under pressure, and to strict deadlines;
• Ability to maintain high levels of enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong understanding of revenue, sales and negotiation;
• High level of business acumen;
• Possesses a full UK driving licence;
• Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
• Demonstrable experience in staff supervision training and time management;
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written);
• Excellent leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be:
• Enthusiastic, pro-active and dedicated;
• Organised and methodical.

This is a hands-on role in an environment that requires service delivery seven days a week, including Bank Holidays, normally between the hours of 8.30am and 8.00pm. The hours of work will be 37.5 hours a week, five days out of seven, and will include week-ends and Bank Holidays. The salary for this role will be £22,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Vacancy: Salesperson

We are looking for a person to sell holiday homes and luxury lodges onto 2 South Coast parks. We have just completed 2 developments comprising 38 bespoke holiday home/lodge locations, including 3 premier locations with direct beach access and spectacular sea views on our Southsea park and have a development of 69 holiday homes and lodges on our Harbourside Park.

This is a full time position and involves working between 2 parks which are approximately 10 minutes drive apart so a driving licence is essential.

As a holiday home/lodge sales advisor you will build and maintain a customer database and deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner building trusting relationships both with customers who are enquiring about owning their own holiday home and also existing Holiday Home Owners and Guestds on the park.

Key responsibilities include:
Actively generating and following up leads in order to generate appointments so as to maximise sales opportunities
Sell the product, park and lifestyle in a professional manner
Ensure that all leads are recorded and reported in line with company procedures Implement any marketing activity agreed to maximise sales opportunities and log responses

The ideal candidate for this role will be of a friendly disposition and focussed on achieving sales and delivering exceptional customer service.

Live-in is available with this position.

Commission will be paid on completed sales in addition to basic salary and OTE of £25-£35k in the first year.

Although not essential, accommodation can be provided with this position. This would comprise a static holiday home with gas and electric paid for separately.
