Park Warden, semi retired Couple/Individual, Waterfront Country Park
We are looking for a warden couple or individual to live full time all year round on the site at the relaxed quiet Waterfront Country Park located in the idealic village of West Stockwith opposite a tiny marina where the River Trent and Chesterfield canal meet, 10 min from Gainsborough and 15 min from the lovely Town of Bawtry. Our site spans 6 acres that accommodates 90 touring caravans with 50 of these being seasonal pitches. You will ensure all facilities on the park and the landscape are maintained to the highest standards. Your day to day responsibilities will involve checking visitors in and out of the site, answering the phone to take bookings, dealing with payments and you will also be responsible for the cleaning & maintenance of the small toilet block. The previous warden cleans the toilets 3 times a week maybe more in busy periods and the grass cutting needs doing every 2 weeks in the height of summer. Duties are varied and will include the maintenance and cleaning of the toilet/shower block, general site maintenance and upkeep, grass cutting, grounds work, gas delivery, cleaning & maintenance of caravans and camping pods, reception duties, security and occasionally shop, bar & restaurant work.
You need to have come from a customer focused background and be able to deliver excellent customer care, are self-motivated, team players, work well under pressure, have a ""ready smile"" and be able to deal tactfully with any problems that may arise.

Previous experience on a busy camping & caravan park is desirable as is use of a computerised booking system, we use RMS. A clean, current driving licence is required.

Normally a 5 day week including on call duties, however a 6 day week will be required during peak weeks.

Main Purpose of Job

Principal Accountabilities
Role 1

1.To engage in a range of tasks in connection with the maintenance of the site, including grass cutting, strimming, landscaping and ensuring at all times that the caravan park is attractive and presentable.

Role 1 will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Role 2 will report directly to the Administration Manager.

General
The successful couple will demonstrate an enthusiastic, pro-active and problem solving approach to the job. They will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage customer expectations efficiently, be flexible, focused, self-motivated and be effective at time management and organisation. Bank Holiday and weekend working will be required, including unsociable hours. You will be required to be on call at certain times. A condition of employment will be the provision of a Caravan to be used as the residence of the post holder.

9. Maintaining all machinery and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
10. Report all breakages, breakdowns and damage to the General Manager immediately.
11. Filling any Prime health and safety reports as and when directed.
12. To make sure that all staff respect owners accommodation’s and to leave clean after attending Jobs.
13. Ensuring the security and safety of all machinery and equipment at all times.
14. Checking gas and electric usage and requirements as instructed.
15. Communicate plans for upper level improvements to staff.
16. Liaise with General Manager for scheduling repairmen and extra help as needed.
17. Perform administrative tasks as and when required.
18. Ensuring compliance with delegated duties within the Prime safety, health and safety of self, team and customers, together with the security of the Holiday Homes and buildings serviced.
19. To undertake any other tasks required from time to time to contribute towards the successful
operation of the company.
20. To develop good relationships with our customers, at all times achieving a high standard of
customer service.
21. To Manage the operation of gas delivery when required.
