Job Vacancy: Park Managers

An exciting opportunity for a couple looking to manage a Park for the 2018 season with privately owned static caravans, seasonal touring pitches and pitches for tourers and motor homes.

We are looking to recruit a couple as Park Managers to start at the end of January 2018. The successful candidates should possess a high level of customer care and have the ability to lead a committed team by demonstrating a fully hands on approach and be involved in all aspects of the park.

Duties to include;

•maintaining the high standards of the Park by grass-cutting, strimming, litter picking, rubbish collection and other tasks to ensure that the grounds are kept clean and tidy;

•cleaning of toilet and shower blocks and other park facilities;

•checking-in and siting of tent and tourer arrivals;

•gas bottle deliveries;

•evenings on call including late night park checks;

•dealing with initial static caravan sales enquiries;

•siting of static caravan;

•unpacking, preparing and cleaning of sales static caravans;

•general repairs and maintenance to include basic electrical and plumbing work;

•reception and shop duties,

•cash handling, banking and general administration;

•staff management;

•supervision of Bar Complex;

•liaising with Company Directors, Sales Manager and Head Office Management;

•and any other tasks involved in the day to day running of the Park.

Please note this is a list of the main duties to be carried out in the role of Park Managers but it is not exhaustive. There are many tasks involved in the day to day running of a Holiday Park.

Our Park Managers are not only responsible for the supervision of the team of park staff but are expected to work alongside them.

Days worked over 5 days per week to include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays during open season and 6 days will be required during the main school holidays by prior agreement. Will also include evenings on call with a late-night check of the park.

We are offering an attractive package including salary dependant on experience together with bonuses and accommodation.

Initially this contract will run from the end of January 2018 to the beginning of December 2018.

These positions are not suitable for couples with dependents.

Candidates should ideally have previous park experience, in a similar role would be an advantage.

You will be mainly responsible for assisting the Park Managers with the day-to-day smooth running of the Park together with general maintenance and cleaning within the Holiday Park, reporting to Company Directors and Park Management.

Duties may include: -

• Dealing with general customer and sales

• Gas bottle exchange

• Maintenance of hire fleet
• Ensuring cleanliness of hire fleet is

• Unpacking and cleaning of sales vans
• Toilet & Shower block cleaning
• Regular inspections of Toilet & Shower
• Evenings on call
• Late night park inspection
• Supervision of staff on Manager’s day off

Please note this is a list of the main tasks to be carried out in the role of Wardens but it is not exhaustive. Some of the duties may not be applicable at specific parks.

These are practical and hands-on roles, consistently delivering a high standard of customer service.

These are seasonal positions. The working week is five days out of seven to include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. A six-day working week will be required during the main school holidays. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business. Evenings on call on rotation with Park Managers. Due to the nature of the business, holidays are not permitted during the season.

Accommodation is provided together with utilities as part of the package.

There is the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus payable upon completion of the season.

We are looking for a flexible, friendly, enthusiastic warden couple to join our team next, season to start on 1st March 2018 and finish 5th November 2018.

Duties will include:

Park maintenance and ground work.

General park duties with some night duties.

Cleaning and maintaining facilities to a high standard, this includes toilet/showers, laundry

Shop and Reception work if required.

Job Vacancy: Sales/Marketing Manager

The Role

You will be responsible for the sales and marketing of caravan holiday homes, lodges and holidays.


Your responsibilities include sales of caravan holiday homes, lodges and holidays. This involves prospecting, building rapport, demonstrating the products, and explaining the benefits of buying a holiday home. You will also be actively involved in prospecting current customers with the view to upgrade sale.


Your knowledge of marketing, PR and promotion will enable you to create, manage and track campaigns, organise and attend marketing events and exhibitions, generate ongoing relationships with mutual benefits with local organisation etc. Your focus being lead generation, prospecting and sales.

Experience within the holiday home industry is not essential, as full and ongoing training will be given.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will understand sales, and have a wealth of experience in marketing. You must have good closing skills and be able to build long-term relationships both from a sales and marketing point of view. The role will be exciting, varied, fun and rewarding. You must be able to demonstrate in your attitude many key traits including, drive, ambition, determination, flexibility and an outgoing personality, you will be self-motivated and can work on your own initiative, as well as possessing excellent organisational and inter-personal capability.
